2012 Canadian Burn Survivors Conference

Calgary is honoured to be hosting the 2012 Canadian Burn Survivors Conference from June 6 – 9, 2012, themed “Renewal of Spirit.”

We are very excited about the two keynote speakers: Spencer Beach who learned that “sometimes tragedy chooses you for no reason at all,” a negative experience can become something positive, perseverance can overcome adversity; and Curtis Weber who is committed to making a difference in the safety of people at work and at play by keeping a positive outlook on a tragic situation.

There will be a film presentation “Trials By Fire: Lives Re-Forged” featuring JR Martinez from Dancing with the Stars. In addition, the conference offers other speakers, complimentary healers, breakout sessions, panel discussions, and time to share stories and network with burn survivors and families.
